Here are Tami's cards from our September class.  I LOVE the easel card and the elephant is just stinkin' cute!

 
 
 
 
I am leaving early in the morning for South Dakota again.  My Brother-In-Law, Jerry Veflin, has lost his courageous battle with cancer.  His suffering is over and now hopefully his family can begin to heal.  I will only be gone 3 days and our son, Travis, is accompanying me since Lee is unable to get away at this time.  It will be good to have some time with Travis.
 
Hope you all had a good weekend.  I sure did!

    So sorry for your loss. a relative or friends passing is sometimes a relief because of the struggle the loved one had to endure, but it is so final there are always questions you failed to ask. Prayers to you and your family.

Wonderfall

I love fall and I love leaves.  Fall colors are so warm and rich.  So, when Stampin' Up! came out with the new Wonderfall bundle with the stampset and the matching dies, I couldn't wait to get it and try it out.  This is the first project I made with it.  MMMM, love the added sparkle from the new Champagne Shimmer paper! Button was from my "stash".  Hope you enjoy! Inside:  Verse was printed on the computer. Supplies use: PAPER:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Champagne Shimmer STAMPS - Wonderfall and Teeny Tiny Wishes INK: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, More Mustard The technique is called "Plaid".  Instructions for that are:  Ink your stamp (in this case the leaf) in the lightest color (in the case, pumpkin pie).  Then, using the next darkest color (in the case Cajun Craze) just use the very edge of your in pad, angling so just the n...

Tami's February Cards

Here are Tami's great cards for our class this month.  She excels at masculine cards.....whereas I do NOT. This first one is so fun.  If you have a fisherman in your family this would be perfect for him! Tami's inspiration for this card can be found here . Stamp:  By the Tide and Netting Ink: Soft Suede Paper: Always Artichoke, Island Indigo, Soft Suede Accessories:  Chevron and Square Lattice Embossing Folders, I forget which size circle punch....2 1/4 I think.  Wooden shish-ka-bob skewers. Tami's other card is OH so beautiful.....and far from masculine!  I love it.
