Wonderfall

I love fall and I love leaves.  Fall colors are so warm and rich.  So, when Stampin' Up! came out with the new Wonderfall bundle with the stampset and the matching dies, I couldn't wait to get it and try it out.  This is the first project I made with it.  MMMM, love the added sparkle from the new Champagne Shimmer paper! Button was from my "stash".  Hope you enjoy!

Inside:  Verse was printed on the computer.

Supplies use:

PAPER:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Champagne Shimmer
STAMPS - Wonderfall and Teeny Tiny Wishes
INK: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, More Mustard

The technique is called "Plaid".  Instructions for that are:  Ink your stamp (in this case the leaf) in the lightest color (in the case, pumpkin pie).  Then, using the next darkest color (in the case Cajun Craze) just use the very edge of your in pad, angling so just the narrow knife edge touches the stamp and tap over the stamp numerous times in one direction, then again on the diagonal.  Then use the next darkest color (in the case Cherry Cobbler) and repeat the steps in two other directions.  The next step is to just touch lightly on the very edge of your stamp with the Soft Suede.  Final step is to sponge around the edge with the More Mustard.

The Espresso paper was embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder
I just used 1/2 of the smaller leaf to tuck in for a bit of shimmer between the maple leaves.

That's it for today!  Hope you all enjoy your weekend.
