November South SAS card

Here is the card that I did for our November South Stamp-a-Stack last week.

 
and the inside:
 


Paper - Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse and Whisper White
Ink - Midnight Muse and Whisper White
Stamps - Snowflake Soiree, Greetings of the Season and Snow Swirled

The whole thing was then spritzed with my home-made shimmer mist made with our Champagne Mist shimmer paint and 70% alcohol in a fine mist bottle.

The ribbon is Midnight muse and a non-SU white lace that I had in my cupboard.

Just finishing up packing up supplies for tomorrow's West Stamp Camp.  Will be posting some of those cards in the coming days.

Wonderfall

I love fall and I love leaves.  Fall colors are so warm and rich.  So, when Stampin' Up! came out with the new Wonderfall bundle with the stampset and the matching dies, I couldn't wait to get it and try it out.  This is the first project I made with it.  MMMM, love the added sparkle from the new Champagne Shimmer paper! Button was from my "stash".  Hope you enjoy! Inside:  Verse was printed on the computer. Supplies use: PAPER:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Champagne Shimmer STAMPS - Wonderfall and Teeny Tiny Wishes INK: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, More Mustard The technique is called "Plaid".  Instructions for that are:  Ink your stamp (in this case the leaf) in the lightest color (in the case, pumpkin pie).  Then, using the next darkest color (in the case Cajun Craze) just use the very edge of your in pad, angling so just the narrow knife edge touc

Tami's February Cards

Here are Tami's great cards for our class this month.  She excels at masculine cards.....whereas I do NOT. This first one is so fun.  If you have a fisherman in your family this would be perfect for him! Tami's inspiration for this card can be found here . Stamp:  By the Tide and Netting Ink: Soft Suede Paper: Always Artichoke, Island Indigo, Soft Suede Accessories:  Chevron and Square Lattice Embossing Folders, I forget which size circle punch....2 1/4 I think.  Wooden shish-ka-bob skewers. Tami's other card is OH so beautiful.....and far from masculine!  I love it.
