Can you believe it?

February is winding to a close!  I'm amazed, as usual, at how fast this year is progressing!  However....in this particular case I'm pleased.  My daughter is expecting her first baby on 3/3/13.  The sooner we get there, the happier we will all be!  The waiting is SO hard! I have a card to share today.  It is the project that I will be offering tomorrow at our Stamp Camp West. It is a case of this card that I found on Pinterest.  LOVE that site! Stamps:  Creative Elements, Petite Pairs Ink:  Island Indigo, Basic Black Markers: Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo, Island indigo, Pool Party Accessories:  2 3/8" circle, Elegant Butterfly, and Bitty Butterfly punches, Indigo baker's twine, pearls and miscellaneous blue buttons from my "stash". We have a full house tomorrow so hope all of them enjoy this card! Bye for now, skm

Tami's February Cards

Image
Here are Tami's great cards for our class this month.  She excels at masculine cards.....whereas I do NOT. This first one is so fun.  If you have a fisherman in your family this would be perfect for him! Tami's inspiration for this card can be found here . Stamp:  By the Tide and Netting Ink: Soft Suede Paper: Always Artichoke, Island Indigo, Soft Suede Accessories:  Chevron and Square Lattice Embossing Folders, I forget which size circle punch....2 1/4 I think.  Wooden shish-ka-bob skewers. Tami's other card is OH so beautiful.....and far from masculine!  I love it. Stamps:  Swallowtail, Affection Collection, En Francais Inks:  Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals Accessories: Goosebumps (non SU) and Champagne shimmer paint/alcohol mist, Flower, Vanilla Seam Binding, Rhinestones The inside is JUST as pretty....... Well, that's it for today!  Hope those of you in the storm areas are getting dug out!  We lucked out here and just barely got a little skiff

Floral Frames Class

Image
I'm finally getting around to posting photos of all the amazing frames the ladies made a couple weeks ago at our January Gift and Gab class.  ALL the flowers are handmade with paper cut from punches or dies.  Most are SU, some are not.  We had such fun with these, but they WERE time-consuming.  These ladies are all friends now, so we don't mind spending time with them!  Rochelle and I will be doing more Gift and Gab classes in the future so watch for the invite on my website or in your e-mail! Pam's Frame Rochelle's Frame - note the ladybug!  So cute! Made with Sharpee markers on pearls! This is Mickie's artwork outside of the frame. - Note the "Bees" !  Darling! This was my prototype.  I will use it as a frame for a photo since I don't like the "love" on there. This is Vernie's masterpiece. Sherry's amazing artwork. A few directions.  I "made up" the bottom flower trying to make it loo

February Card Class

For my February cards I used some stuff from my "stash" that are not Stampin' Up!  However, the paper and ink is SU.  The first card is my Valentine for my hubby.  We don't get all sweetie/mushy with each other and I felt this stamp set worked! Outside Inside Isn't she cute!  ;-) My other card does feature a Stampin' Up! stamp from the Sale-A-Bration set "Feeling Sentimental".  I just love this set!  I had found a picture out on the "net" that I loved and this stamp set, as well as a die I had in my "stash" were perfect for it!  I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted to do, and found the perfect embossing folder in my stuff that I had had for years and had never used.  This was in the inspiration photo.  Isn't it awesome.  However, I don't remember where the heck I got it!   Here is my card:     The paper is Sahara Sand.  The telephone booth was stamped twice.  Once on Real Red...cut o
